The families of teens missing after a deadly inferno at a establishment in a Swiss ski resort are confronting an agonising period of uncertainty for confirmed information and pleading for clues about their family members online.

The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of the first day of the year. Verified footage show the ceiling igniting as bottles with sparklers are raised in celebration.
